creative imaginations

I liked to try something different with this post.  These are some of the scrapbooking papers I have put aside for my paper doll scrapbook.  I like to use stickers featuring buttons, ribbon, lace, and other clothing details.  As for paper, I love vintage feeling paper with fashion designs and fabrics.

Below are some links to other papers I do not own but think would be lovely for a paper doll scrapbook:

As far as brands of scrapbooking paper, Graphics 45 has lots of wonderful designs as well as Kaiser Craft.    Carta Bella and Authentique also has a wide variety of vintage inspired pages.  Hope this posting is helpful to all the paper doll loving paper craters out there.

Dolly Dingle ice Skating

Here is a cut Dolly Dingle set from January 1922.  I don't recall exactly what the title of this set is, something like 'Dolly Dingle and her friend Sam go Ice Skating.'  There are two dolls, each doll has two outfits.  There is one hat and accessory.  Some items are missing from the page.  the artist is Grace G Drayton

Vintage Bridal Shower Tags

Bottom: Gibson

Top: A Quaint Shop Original Bottom: Norcross

bottom: Rustcraft

Top: Gibson. Bottom: Fairfield

Here are some lovely vintage tags from Bridal Showers past.  Not all of the cards are labeled with the maker.  None of the cards have dates.  I have a lot of cards from lots I purchased on ebay that I plan to 'eventually' use in my wedding.

Christmas Doll

So a little late... lol.  Here is my Christmas doll.  She has 5 outfits, most with shoes and hair accessories.  The fonts I used are from dafont.com http://www.dafont.com/vintage-christmas.font and http://www.dafont.com/santas-sleigh.font

I used reference for the outfits and dolls from vintage doll catalog pages. I may add some more outfits in the future.

Happy New Year

Ok I'm back! Here is a two page magazine paper doll to start with.  Phillip by Nancy Latham from Dolls January 1996.  I am still working on the prizes for the contest winner and will post the winner as soon as I finish.  I've been very lazy/procrastinate on projects.  My Christmas doll will be posted soon too.  (a little late lol).  So hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season.  I've got a lot of catching up to do!
