Barbie Coloring Book Paper Dolls

OK, so using some of the art from the Barbie Coloring Book previously posted, I decided to make some paper dolls.  The first doll has two outfits and a pair of shoes.  The second doll has four outfits and two pairs of shoes.  Each doll is colored in photoshop.  The bases are from the Barbie Outdoor Adventure Coloring Book by Marrigold Press.  The top doll needs slits cut on the black lines to fit the tabs on the doll.  I have not tested these dolls to see if all the outfits fit properly.  I may do some more coloring book paper dolls in the future.

  1. I have distinct memories of, as a child, using coloring book pages to make paper doll sets. These are fun and feel properly 1990s.

  2. Very nicely done. I was thinking of doing the very same thing. :) I've loved Barbie since I was a child and I'm in my 50's now. I also make my own paper doll sets as you do.
