Patty's Party Paper Dolls
This set has 4 paper dolls, Peggy, Patty, Diane and Linda. There are four pages of clothing, one for each girl. Lots of pretty flowers and ruffles. This book is from the Stephens Publishing Co. I don't have an exact date on this, 1950s or early 1960s.

Paper Dolls
This set compliments the set I posted yesterday. It doesn't have the most imaginative title, it's simply called "Paper Dolls" and features the other two doll bases from the original American Beauties set. The two dolls are named Marie and Eleanor. This set is also by Rueben Lilja Co. and was published in 1951. The book has four pages of clothing, two for each doll.

American Beauties Paper Dolls
Ruth and Elizabeth |
This is a set by Reuben H. Lilja Co. published in 1951. It is a reprint of an earlier set of the same name that had four different dolls (I have a second reprint I will post next with the other two dolls). This set has 4 dolls, but they are the same on the front and back named Ruth and Elizabeth. It has four page of outfits, two pages for each doll. Lilja co has made some of my favorite sets, I love the clothing and the tabs and the small illustrations in the book.

14 Good Little Dolls with cloth like dresses
This uncut paper doll book features a whopping 14 dolls of boys, girls and babies. This set is by the artist Emma McKean. There is 4 pages of clothing, not a lot for so many dolls. It features clothing for school, play, and even cleaning. The dolls are all different sizes. This was published by Saalfield in 1941. i'm not sure what the set means by 'cloth-like' clothing, the paper feels a bit different then standard but doesn't really feel like cloth. I was almost expecting flocking, which is included in sets sometimes.

Paper Doll Collaberation 2018 Animals
The theme for May was favorite Animals (or pets?) so I created four outfits (surprise they fit on a page!). The first one is a cat maid, inspired by anime like Toyko Mew Mew. (best not to look up cat maid, you get some creepy stuff..). She has little cat shoes as well. The second is a Turtle print Turtleneck dress, because pun fun! Next, it's getting hot here, so some summer outfits. A dolphin print tank with starfish shorts (starfish are animals). And last, I am a dog person, so a dog t-shirt with shorts and faux dog tag necklace.
Be sure to check out the other great contributors to this fun collaboration project, links are below.

B Boilesen Paper Doll
This groovy paper doll doesn't have much to help identify. There is a small signature that I think says B Boilesen. It is on a cardboard like sheet. I believe it is foreign. And I believe it is from the 60s or early 70s. But I can't say for sure.

8 Standing Dolls
Here's an uncut paper doll book I swear I posted but doesn't show up when I search for it, so here it is! (maybe again?). Sometimes I have trouble keeping track of what I have posted and what I haven't. This uncut book has 8 dolls, as foretold in the title, designed to stand up. It includes 4 boys and 4 girls and 4 pages of outfits. This set was produced by Saalfield and published in 1948. My copy is a little work and has a small tear on the pages.

Cut-Outs for Children
School is over, I got all A's and my schedule has freed up a bit. I spent my free day yesterday scanning lots of paper dolls, preparing for the convention. This is a newspaper paper doll called Cut-Outs for children. I have a few sheets of these but don't know much about them. None of them are dated or signed.

Best of Friends
Gail |
Irene |
This was a box set, though there's not much left of the box except a side with the name of the set. Best of Friends may include different dolls then these ones shown. I have Irene and Gail, both are thick sturdy dolls. This set was produced by Sam Gabriel Sons Company but does not have a date. This is a cut set and may be missing items.
