Paper Doll Collaboration 2018 July Patriotic

I can't believe this month is over!  I've been so busy I almost forgot about this month's theme.  The theme for July was Patriotic inspired by the 4th of July. Image these clothes in red, white and blue colors.  I designed 4 outfits and 1 pair of shoes to go with the doll.  Stars are easier to draw on the computer then by hand.  I made a few quick patterns to help fill in the fabric designs.

Carlsen Card

This cute card is from Carlsen company and features 4 pages of clothing for the doll on the back. I'm afraid I can't quite read the signature of the of the artist.  Love the patterns and prints. Great colors too!

La Cenicienta

This paper doll is from Barcelona and features 4 pages including the cover.  This is Cinderella with her ballgowns and prince.

Gertie

This newspaper paper doll is uncut and includes 2 outfits, 2 pairs of shoes and 3 hats.  Probobly from the 1930s.

Sally the Standing Doll

This is an uncut book published by Samuel Lowe Company in the 1940s.  She has a front and back where the cover is connected on the top.  She has front and back outfits as well.  There are 6 pages in the book.  She also has some animal friends who can stand with her.

I'm back!  Oh wow!  The paper doll convention was SO much fun! I had a great time.  I will post pics soon.  So for now, here's a black and white sketch paper doll of a small doll and outfits.  She's got a lot of tiny dresses, 22 if I counted right.  Glad to be home, I'm exhausted.

1930s Fashion

The latest issue of OPDAG's Paper Doll Studio came in the mail a few days ago.  The theme for the magazine was 1930s.  Above is the two page paper doll I designed in color and in black and white.  She has 11 dresses, 4 pairs of shoes and 8 hats.  The last issue can be purchased from their website here.  It's convention time!  So this will be my last post for about a week.  Have a Happy 4th of July everyone!
