The third month of the Paper Doll Collaborative Project 2019! This month's theme was Sweet Style, fashion inspired by food. I have a whole pinterest board here for sweet inspired fashion and hair. The first top left dress is a cupcake. The one under it is an ice cream sprinkle top with waffle cone skirt. The hair inspired by Sweetie Belle from My little pony, with a cherry on top. the next dress is inspired by a mix of Lollipop Princess from Candy Land and Princess Serenity from Sailor Moon. under it is a pair of boots with icing and cherry accent. The next pair of shoes is a candy stripe with whip cream accent worn with bow socks. next is Sailor Moon inspired hair with candy bows. The last outfit is a candy bow sailor collar with peplum and candy stripe pencil skirt. I imagine this would be red and white.
Please note I will be signing all my art as Melissa Pepe now.

Barbie a History of a Doll timeline
Tomorrow is Barbie's 60th Birthday. Above is a timeline I designed for one of my classes last semester. I drew Barbie's dream house (one of many) and separated the rooms into different eras, with key points and dolls for each. The photos are from the internet and since it was a school project, I didn't keep track of the sources. Some are from books too. Due to the fact I lost my flashdrive, I no longer have the original final version of this file, only a jpg and early stage progress so I can't change it unless I start over. But overall I like how it turned out. I used two fonts, Barbie Medium Itallic and Dolly Script font, which is for personal use. I consider school projects personal use, since I have no intent on selling the final product.
It's not a paper doll, but I figure most people who like paper dolls like real dolls too! and i like sharing other projects. I do not have time to make a paper doll for her birthday, with two jobs, school and a wedding next week.

Brenda Starr copies
Some time ago I acquired a large lot of newspaper comic paper dolls. These sheets were part of the lot but they are only black and white copies of the originals. These are from 1946 and 1948. Might be fun to color.
