Pantins, also known as jumping jacks or jointed/articulated paper dolls, are made of several parts, usually a body with arms and legs. The arms and legs are attached, by brads or string, and the pantin then can move or be posed. Here are some magazine pantins, most in black and white. The Santa only has moveable arms and instructions on how to make his arms move. Some of these dolls, I do not know the date or magazine they came from. These came from a small lot purchase from goodwill online stores.
