Here is a newspaper comic paper doll from 11-22-1936. The Jane Arden's Wardrobe features a profile of a gentleman with three outfits and two hats. His name is Captain Franz Wells. This is a full sheet and also has a paper doll on the back from the comic Toots and Casper of the character Stella by the artist Jimmy Murphy.
Actually Stella is a character from the Toots and Casper comic strip not Jane Arden. :)
