2019 Goals
Wow, this month is almost over! What happened! Some of my goals for this year are
1. Sell some stuff. I really don't need multiple copies of things. And some sets I have cut then bought uncut ect. Things that came in lots I just don't need to keep.
2. Organize! Things are a bit everywhere. The whole house needs some TLC.
3. Get MARRIED! I swear, this year is it! Planning on March. Done nothing. (I have a dress... bought it two years ago, lol) Been together 15 years this March
4. Finish unfinished projects or post them as is. I have quite a few things I never quite finished and put aside. I plan on fleshing these out and getting them DONE!
5. Stop snacking and lose some weight.
6. Scan more things. Post more things.

Jane Arden's Wardrobe
Here's a paper doll of Jane Arden along with what I assume is a boyfriend, since they are holding hands. His name is Prince Rupert and he is wearing a very stylish brown suit and comes with an extra light brown/tan jacket and hat. Jane has a fuzzy black coat with matching hat. This is dated 1-18-1942. From a newspaper, discolored from age.

Muny Opera Dressographs Hannah Toback
Here's another newspaper sheet from the Muny Opera Dressograph series published in the St. Louis Post Dispatch. This one is of Hannah Toback and features 3 outfits along with hats. It is dated July 23, 1933. School starts next week and I have a pretty packed schedule, so expect less blog activity. Dealing with issues regarding financial aid too :<. Also start back up on working two jobs, so I'll be busy.

Kellogg's Krumbles Portugal
Kellogg's Krumbles was a cereal that no longer exist (as far as I know). This is from the back of the box and features two cut out figures with traditional outfits from Portugal. The boy has 1 outfit with a hat. The girl has three outfits. It says "Portugal is the land of wine and olives. Its children have appealing beauty. Their costumes flash with many attractive colors." This one seems to be in full color. These are from around the 1940s

Unfinished Project: Mom
This project started out as a mother's day paper doll. The idea was to make a base with changeable heads inspired by vintage housewives. The outfits were going to be days of the week (baking, mending, washing, ect) but I never finished the project. I thought it relied too much on tracing and decided not to finish it. Here's the base and heads I did finished, (planned on seven) followed by the references I used (all from pinterest)

Happy New Year 2019
I was hoping to post this yesterday but I finished it last night. (no color again...!) The idea was to make dresses/outfits inspired by cocktails. So here's three, the top is champagne, the one under it is martini and the one on the bottom is red wine. Hope everyone has a wonderful New Year!
