wrap around bride
Here is a cute wrap around doll from Hallmark 1951. She is perforated along the sides of her veil so the skirt can be folded back and the doll can stand up. This was part of a lot of greeting cards I purchased from ebay.

Hope everyone has a very Happy Thanksgiving. Here is a vintage card from Hallmark to celebrate. The cards front text says:
Hi There! Here's a Thanksgiving wish And a great big "Hi!"
The inside text says:
For someone who's nice than PUMPKIN PIE!
it is signed and written in but I don't mind. This is part of a large lot of vintage cards I purchased from ebay recently

Let's Talk Turkey
Here is a Thanksgiving paper doll designed by me. I went quickly on this doll to meet the deadline. The doll's base is from a vintage Barbie ad for Talking Stacey doll from https://www.flickr.com/photos/matthewsutton/3376409822/in/faves-foxybelle/. Two of the outfits are inspired by actual mod Barbie dresses, the rest are from my imagination. I used Adobe Illustrator and the pre made patterns for the design. The clothing is inspired by the late 60s and includes a Pilgrim dress. I tried to use fall colors like orange, yellow, red and browns. There are 7 outfits, a pair of pants to go with her swimsuit and 2 pairs of shoes.

Jane Arden's Wardobe
Here is another Jane Arden newspaper doll from 11-24-1940, She has four outfits and three hats. This is an uncut newspaper page. I have not scanned the whole comic, just the paper doll. The newspaper has yellowed with age and the paper is somewhat brittle.

Old-Time Fashions paper dolls
Here are two girls with two pages of vintage inspired clothing from Dolls magazine Novemeber 2004. The artist is Ming-Ju Sun. These are reprinted with Dover's permission and are from the book which I've posted here. The colors do seem brighter and crisper then the library copy.

Ayers
Here is an advertisement paper doll from Ayer's Sarsaparilla. The date is 1894. The doll has two outfits but no arms. This doll was available at the World's Fair. For some reason, I did not scan the back of this doll, which has text. The doll has some discoloration from age and a bend on her face. This is one of the oldest dolls in my paper doll collection.
