Desktop Wallpaper background designs using vintage paper doll outfits from 50 paper dolls (top) and Baby Mine (bottom) I may do a few more of these so if there are any paper dolls you'd like to see wallpapers of let me know! I also tried a Dolly Dingle one using the dolls,but it ended up a bit too creepy.  clothing seems to work better.  These would also make fun puzzles!

Drawtober Day 01 Kinder Cat

 So for class, I am making a fictional brand that sells unisex gender neutral Halloween costumes.  For this brand, I decided to make a mascot, Kinder Cat.  So for Drawtober, I will be making costumes/outfits for my mascot character below,

Cousin maggie and Friends cross stitch paper doll

 

So, I don't actually do much cross stitch, I prefer embroidery (mostly because one time I missed a line half way through and didn't notice til I was done!)  But someone donated some old cross stitch magazines to the library and I grabbed them.  To my surprise, I found a paper doll!  This was in Cross Stitch and Country Crafts magazine Novemeber/December 1990. Designed by Robin Clark. It includes a page with finished project and instructions and a pattern page with more instructions. 

School Project Character Stickers

Not paper dolls!  This was a project for school were we created our own character stickers.  We had to make at least six with two animated.  Well I made eleven with three animated gifs (pardon the puking rainbows).  This is based on my imaginary friend Ruby Rose Jewelheart the 3rd (or Rose for short).  As you can see, the stickers represent different emotions, like emojis.  Stickers are often used in communication apps.  Expressions include: Bored (...), dizzy animated gif, happy/beaming, blowing a kiss/hearts, laughing/haha, okay/thumbs up, sick/puking rainbows animated gif, shy, sleeping, shiney/sparkles aniamted gif, and upset/angry.

This month is going by so fast!  Halloween is so soon!  This month's theme for October was witch. The first dress is inspired by the wicked witch of the west from the classic move The Wizard of Oz.  the second is a more modern design you would see in Halloween costume stores, complete with stockings and shoes and a broom.

Inktober

Inktober continues and I'm a bit behind.  Here's two more themes: zombies and Egyptian.

Inktober continues

More inktober outfits!  Day 8th was sports so I did a cheerleader, another mix and match option.  October 9th was vintage/historical, I went with a 1920's flapper dress with feather headdress on short bob hairstyle and some t strap shoes.  The next page is day 10 and 11, (though I forgot to number them)  day 10 was doll/toy theme.  I did a ball joint inspired design with a baby-doll dress.  Last is ghost them  I did a blood stained gown with a Japanese ghost inspired wig/hairstyle.  her feet are supposed to be covered in blood. (inspired by Paper Thin Personas great ghost doll http://paperthinpersonas.com/2019/10/10/ghost-paper-doll/ )

Inktober 6 and 7

Two more outfits for Inktober.  Day 6 theme was element, so I went with water, since last year I did fire.  This was inspired by the Disney water fairy Silvermist image. For day 7 the theme was food so I went with watermelon. This is my first mix and match outfit and I hope to do more.  it comes with a crop top and watermelon print skirt along with watermelon seed socks.

Inktober 4 and 5

More Inktober costumes. Day 4 was animals, so i decided to do a cat girl with a fur trimmed dress, tail, cat ears and fur trimmed boots.  Day 5 was flower so I decided on daisies.  Her dress has a daisy poncho with leaf skirt, her hair has a daisy crown and her shoes are flower sandals,

Day 3 of Inktober, the theme is insect.  I decided to go with a ladybug.  A polkadot gown with puff sleeves and capri pants with short socks with socks and a hairstyle with antenna

Day 2 of Inktober.  Todays theme was bird so I designed a wing cape with feather skirt along with a birdcage hat and some claw/talon feet.
