Paper Doll Collaboration 2018 November Military

This month's theme was military.  I decided to draw a realistic modern version of the cameo uniform on the right and a more 'hollywood' interpretation on the left aka what I think of when I think of a soldier; a tank top, cameo carpis, dog tags and combat boots.  I drew these at school, with the new Adobe CC, but when I got home, Adobe CS5 could not correctly open the file, so I couldn't modify them at all.

Be sure to check out the other blogs participating in this collaboration project.

Birthday Card

Add your own text to this cute Birthday card.  Could be an invitation to a birthday party as well.  Made by me using Adobe Illustrator (for my birthday yo).  Cute cupcake cutout with frosting toppings/decorations.

Copies from Brenda Starr Newspaper Comics

Some time ago I acquired a large lot of newspaper comic paper dolls.  These sheets were part of the lot but they are only black and white copies of the originals. These are from 1947 and 1948.  Might be fun to color.

Here's a page from Child Life magazine dated November 1926.  The paper doll has two outfits and a hat.  I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving.

Little Owl and His Friends

This is a copy from Jack and Jill magazine featuring 2 pages stitched together. I'm not sure of the issue or year.  The pages have a native american named Little Owl along with a canoe, teepee, and little animal friends.  This is not quite a paper doll, more of a cut out assembly toy.  The artist is Peggie Geiszel.

Beaver Tooth and Snow Bird

Here is a sheet of black and white paper dolls to be colored.  The paper has yellowed with age.  This page includes two paper dolls of Native Americans. The pair each have an outfit and accessories. This is from Children's Activities and it is dated November 1936.
