This Tillie panel is dated 6-3-1934 and features a lovely ruffled blue dress and a cowboy outfit complete with hat.  The drawings were sent in by Charlotte Slough.

 Yeah so it's taking a bit longer then I thought to work on this, but it is in progress.  i've sketched 4 days and finished the first costume below.  Day 2 is clown,  Also modified the base a little bit so he's not so pointy in some places.  will be working on this today, so if I finish I'll post more

Samantha A Peace Doll

 

This black and white paper doll is from the artist Helen McCook. I think this is a copy, because there is no dated information.  The girl is from around 1908 and is lovely posed in a chair reading a book.  she has four outfits, two with books and two with dolls. These were found in Doll Castle News.

This Tillie panel is dated 4-16-1933.  she has two outfits and a hat.  Both are very stylish, I would wear either of these dresses!  Drawings by Helen Isham.

McLaughlin's XXXX coffee

 

This is a die cut premium for McLaughlin's XXXX coffee featuring a girl wearing a red cape.  She openes her cape to reveal a cat in a muff.  There were a series of these but I'm not sure how many.  I only have the one.  From the late 1800's early 1900s

 So for class, I am making a fictional brand that sells unisex gender neutral Halloween costumes.  For this brand, I decided to make a mascot, Kinder Cat.  So for Drawtober, I will be making costumes/outfits for my mascot character below,
