Happy Holidays Hiatus

Doll world Baby

Here is a two page magazine paper doll from Doll World. It is a darling baby by the artist Yuko Green.  This is from December 1998.  I will not post much this month because of the holidays.

Jaunty Juniors

Here is a lovely set from Lilja company dated 1946.  Jaunty Juniors has four lovely dolls.  This is a cut set and may be missing some items.  I thought I posted this set on the blog some time ago but could not find it. I came across a sewing pattern on Pinterest that reminded me of the set.

Here is two uncut magazine pages from Doll World December 1993.  The doll has three outfits and two hats.  The artist is Lauren Welker.

Here are some scans of vintage gift tags from a large lot I purchased on ebay.  There are 7 tags here and many more to scan.  I've included the inside of the tags which are signed.  These are not marked on the back with a company, just numbers so I do not know who published them originally.

Dolly Dingle Identification Guide

Here are three pages from the D.D.I.D. or Dolly Dingle Identification by Joan Carl 1971.  This book includes 2 supplements in a three ring hole punched binder and has black and white photocopies of Dolly Dingle paper dolls to help collectors identify the sets.  This was before the internet when it was easy to look items up.  I think these pages would be great for kids to color.
