Dover has published a few Dolly Dingle Reproduction books. This one is published in 1978 and features many Dolly Dingle sheets from the around the world dolls. The main difference between the orignal sheets and the reproduction is the size. These are 12x9 while the vintage magazine sheets are around 14x10 or so. Also the color of the reproduction tends to be brighter, especially the white background paper. I did not include scans all the pages of this item. the artist is Grace G Drayton.

Paper Doll Collaboration 2017 Oscars
Find the Doll here http://missmissypaperdolls.blogspot.com/2017/02/paper-doll-collaberation.html
For the February theme of the Collaboration Project, the challenge was what to wear to the Oscars (which I believe are next week?). I'll be honest, I don't really watch awards shows, only the red carpet to see the fabulous gowns. I'll be also honest and say the two dresses are not based on any real gowns, just the overall theme I tend to see at the Oscars award show. To the left is a mermaid with a simple top and dramatic ruffle bottom, mermaid dresses seem to be common. I expect it would be in a jewel tone or dramatic pastel in color. To the right is a big sparkly ball gown, another dress that seems to rule the red carpet. I image the color of this dress to be nude, blush or gold tone. The hair style is simple pulled to one side, with earring accent.

Paper Doll Collaberation
Alright, so if you follow other paper doll blogs you may have stumbled across a project called Paper doll Collaboration 2017 from Paper Doll School, Paper Thin Personas, and Pop Culture Paper Dolls.
Well, I asked if I could join the project, yes it's belated, but the girls agreed to let me in on the fun! So above is my modification of Julie Mathews wonderful base along with January's theme, the Year I was born. The two outfits are based on the sewing patterns below. I was born in 1988, a bad year to be a bridesmaid! Puffy sleeves and ruffles! I haven't named her yet!
Be sure to check out the other girls dolls at the links below. The outfits should all fit, with the exception of hair I think.

Dolly Dingle's Valentine
This beautiful page is from February 1927. Dolly Dingle has a very cute wardrobe with 4 outfits, 2 hats and a pair of shoes. Her Valentine's dress is too adorable. Main colors seem to be red and blue. This image was on my computer and is not from my personal collection. Valentine's Doll
http://missmissypaperdolls.blogspot.com/2015/04/easter-doll.html
I used a base I've already used for an Easter doll in 2015 and edited it to be a Valentine's theme. I used a font here for the heart accents. Main colors are pink and red with a purple outfit as well. She has 8 dresses with hearts and bows.
