Jane

 

Jane has four outfits including a raincoat, a cowboy outfit, something for golf and some pjs.  This is dated 4-28-1940

A Tillie newspaper doll with one outfit and jacket.  She is dated 4-20-1947.  Miss Betty Dean is the artist.  I think the doll is quite cute and would be fun to make more outfits for her

A male paper doll of Anson Heath who has four outfits and a hat.  This is dated 4-14-1940

Boots cut-out

 

This Boots has a more common pose and two dresses.  She is dated 4-15-1945

Your Valentine C

 Laura Brock paper doll Cherie.  Here is the Valentine Girl for your doll family.  Little Cherie, whose name, in French, means "sweetheart" has brought with her a charming dress and hat, trimmed with hearts in preparation for your family circle's Valentine party.

Even Cherie's novel little bungalow is completely made out of hearts.  be sure to clip out these doll cutouts in The Seattle Star every Monday.  You'll find much enjoyment in coloring them and keeping them together for your "Star Doll Family."

This Tillie newspaper doll has two costumes  She is dated 4-13-1947,  Drawn by Miss Nancy McClain.  I wonder if the artist request to go by Miss or Mrs.

okay so it's just the outside page that I've colored.  I may not have time to finish the inside clothing before the holiday and looks like my PSD file may be missing the layer I started working on for the second page of clothing.  But here is the outside page in color with and without a background.

vintage Valentine Greeting card from Gibson greeting cards.  The doll on the cover pops out and she has two wig hairstyles.  I did not scan the inside which just had text.

Valentine Figurine

Another black and white paper doll for Valentine's Day.  This three page paper doll is inspired by vintage Valentine figurines such as the ones made by Josef like  here  I will most likely not have time to finish coloring this before Valentine's Day.

This Boots newspaper paper doll has a very odd pose with two outfits.  it is dated 8-25-1945

Valentine Paper Doll Card 2022 BW

 

Here is a black and white valentine paper doll card.  Print on two separate 11x8.5 (landscape) pieces of paper and fold in half, staple together in the middle with the first page as the cover of the card and the second page as the inside.  Sign and write on the side with the text.  I am working on a colored version of this card and hope to have it finished by tomorrow.  I am trying a new website called photopea, which is a photoshop like webiste.
