Cinderella and the Prince
This a box set of the Disney character Cinderella and the Prince. I love box sets but I don't have too many because they take up a lot of room. This is dated 1984 and is from Whitman. Interesting, her blue gown from the movie is pink in this paper doll version. The dolls have an almost anime feel to their faces and have slight bends from age (they don't lay flat anymore). There is an accordion book that has five pages of outfits for the two dolls, it was a challenge to scan. The wedding dress is very similar to one I remember having as a kid.

magazine paper doll
This paper doll is from a doll magazine, I don't recall which but I believe it is from Doll World Just titled Paper Dolls, this lovely drawn paper doll is by the artist Melanie Byrd and dated 1995. She has a beautiful wardrobe with 5 dresses, Including a wedding gown. two of the dresses have matching hats. Please note, I am starting school again and this blog will be on the back burner for a while. I may not post very often. I will have a lot to juggle and will be very busy.

Paper Doll Collaberation 2018 June Bride
Where did this month go! I love wedding dresses. I love drawing wedding dresses. Above are two beautiful bridal gowns. The first is a short vintage inspired dress with flower applique. The second is a long trumpet gown with beaded detail and a bouquet. It's a lot easier for me tor draw beading and lace by hand, on the computer it's a bit harder because I don't like to copy and paste... I want a hand drawn look! I gave her a short veil with some glitter detail. I did one more sketch of a big Cinderella style ball gown but didn't have any time to do the computer lines. When I tried on wedding dresses, I was very surprised how heavy the things are! Especially the ball gowns! This may be my last post for a week.

June Bride
This two page paper doll is from Dolls Magazine dated June 2014 (I believe) and is from the artist Diane E Vining. The doll has 3 lovely bridal gowns with veils from the years 1814, 1914 and 2014. I can't believe it's already June! Love the bits of blue on the 1814 doll

Wedding Cards
a Doehla Fine Arts Card Made in USA |
Please Come! Greetings Inc L331 Made in USA |
Hallmark 10 GE436-2 copyright Hall Brothers | Inc |
Hallmark 10 W4-4 copyright Hall Brothers Inc |
I've been collecting vintage wedding cards in hopes of displaying or using them somehow in my own wedding. Maybe place mats? Or table numbers? Or banners? I love the old artwork, especially brides and grooms. I don't care if the cards have been signed, as long as the card is in good condition with nice colors and no rips or tears. I've also collected some anniversary and wedding shower cards that fit the bridal theme.

Pink Wedding
Here's a vintage partial set from Pink Wedding. This was part of a lot I purchased and it is in played with condition. The dolls have some bends and the set is incomplete. The bride has three outfits and each bridesmaid has only one dress. This set was published by Merrill in 1952. The artist I believe is John Northcross.
