Bunny Scraps

 

I've been very slowly sorting through my scraps (ie items that came with paper doll lots that didn't go with the sets or had duplicates) and I was surprised how many tiny little bunnies I had! I'm not done sorting yet but I thought I would scan in some for Easter (along with a cute little lamb).  The pink bunny on top is flocked and I may make a small wardrobe for it.  A few others would be good candidates for paper dolls

This Tillie has two gowns, a yellow dress and a green dot dress.  it is dated 3-22-1936. Sent in by Geneviere Kuhfus

Easter Bunni 2021

Easter Bunni paper doll has three pages.  The doll has 8 dresses, 3 hair accessories, and 4 pairs of shoes along with a bag, basket and large Easter egg.  for this doll, cut along her arms to tuck them in front of the dresses.  This will also allow her to hold her bag and basket.  In black and white and in color.  

Jane Arden

 

2-15-1942 is the date of this Jane Arden panel.  she has four outfits and one hat.  I love the grey dress with belt.  Also the green vest with skirt... and the blue striped suit and matching hat...  I guess I just love all of it!

Boots

 

This boots has a wonderful blue dress with hat, a black and red dress, and a pink/red shirt with mathcing hat along with a pennant flag. Dated 10-2-1938.  The only colors on this panel are red, blue and black.

This Boots paper doll has a fabulous costumes including a clown, gypsy and ballerina. Not sure what the red outfit is?  It is dated 9-25-1938

The first doll is Peter.  He is from September 1920.  He has 5 outfits and a hat.  The second doll is Peggy.  She is from May 1920 and has two outfits.Dolly Dingle friends. Grace G Drayton is the artist. from Pictorial Review magazine

Jane Arden's Wardobe

 

This Jane has three dresses including a red dress with frill collar and puff sleeves, a blue dress I would love to steal, and a grey long dress/coat.  Dated  2-1-1942.  don't forget to buy savings bonds!

This boots paper doll is dual tone (only red and blue) and features a delicate walking pose with four outfits. This is dated 9-18-1938

Maxine

 

A more complete cut set of Dolly Dingle.  This is Maxine.  she has four dresses and a hat.  My grandmother was named Maxine, so I have a fondness for her . Dated July/Aug 1920 Grace G Drayton is the artist. from Pictorial Review magazine

St Patrick's Day Paper Doll

 

After looking through my previous St. Patrick's Day paper dolls, I think that I don't have any children.  So I used this vintage fashion illustration for a base and made some shamorck and green clothing for the occasion.  I'm afraid I don't know anything about the drawing as far as who created it or what time period it is from.  I just saw her and thought she would make a cute paper doll.  I modified it and made four outfits and some hair accessories and shoes.

ST Patricks Day Paper Doll 2021

 

I wanted to create a paper doll with mix and match options for St Patricks Day.  The color pencils scanned just awful and I'm not in a mood to fix it.  The doll was inspired by a vintage swimsuit ad from Cole of California https://www.pinterest.com/pin/15199717464925842/  She has 6 tops and six bottoms 3 pairs of shoes 4 dresses and 2 hair pieces.

This Boots newspaper paper doll features her friend (Babe?)  who is a wonderfully curvy gal with four stylish outfits and two hats.  this is dated 9-11-1948.  Her white gown with gloves is just fabulous and I love the green coat too!
