The Martha Washington Doll Book by Aline Bernstein and the publisher is Howell, Soskin. The book has a copyright date of 1945, I did not include the scan of the story. Spiral bound. Two doll figures and period clothing.

This single page paper doll is in my Doll Reader folder. Pat Stall is the artist. I am unsure if there is a second page missing. Black and white boy from 1879 with 5 costumes.

This single page paper doll is broken into two parts as a fold in a smaller spread most likely an old issue of Doll Castle news however it is not labeled with a month or year. The doll has one dress, two tops and a skirt along with two hats. The artist is Lauren Welker.  Though I would assume the address is not to date. 

Miss Consuelo Vanderbilt

 

This is a three panel paper doll almost formed like a card. It features Miss Consuelo Vanderbilt on November 189% Marries the Duke of Marlborough and she is labeled as the first "Poor little Rich Girl" This is drawn by the talented Brenda Sneathnen Mattox and was published in the Spring 1998 Victorian Sampler. A beautiful two page paper doll with a painterly quality and lovely soft colors.  This doll, Natalie is from the artist Evelyn Gathing abd features three outfits and matching hats and accessories. She represents a 17 year old from the 18th century. This doll comes from Contemporary Doll magazine.  There is no date on the page. most likely from the 1990s

Black Velvet Band

 

Here is a two page magazine doll from Doll World dated February 1998 by the artist Millie Wilcoxson It features a doll with two tops and two skirts.  Not sure what black velvet band is exactly.  

Princess Briar Rose (Sleeping Beauty) cutouts

 These black and white paper doll pages are a bit of a mystery to me.  I do not know where they came from or who created them.  Each doll has one outfit and lots of accessories.  

Cynthia Malbon's Alice

Here's a magazine paper doll.  It's a single page (I'm not sure there is a second page missing).  Sue Shanahan is the artist.  This is from Doll Reader magazine dated September 1998.  She has one outfit and represents the character of Alice from the famous book series.

Any ideas for a Halloween paper doll?  I want to start brainstorming ideas now.

Armand Marsellie 401 "Flapper"

This lovely two page paper doll was drawn by Karen Reilly and published in Doll Reader Magazine for the March/April 2006 Issue.  The doll has 3 outfits with matching hats and some accessories including a very cute dog. 

Ready for the Feast Cut Out

These two pages are from Golden Magazine dated November 1966.  The artist is Neva Schultz.  Golden magazine had many paper doll pages, some months were only one page, others had a two page spread.  This set features a boy and girl, each with one costume and accessories.  Can you believe it's almost Thanksgiving!?  I haven't designed a Thanksgiving paper doll for this year yet (not sure I have time now!)

French Fashion Doll

A two page paper doll from Dolls Magazine dated October 1984.  The French doll is named Mlle. Lisabete and she has 3 full dresses, a top, a cape, 3 hats, a bustle and one bunch of flowers (a fan? a hair accessory, a wrist corsage?)  This doll was drawn by the artist Bette Wells and the copyright is dated 1984.

Jules Steiner 1890

Here is another two page paper doll from Doll  Reader Magazine.  This one is from the December/January 2008 issue.  The doll is called Jules Steiner 1890 and she has two dresses and two hats along with accessories.  The artist is Karen Reilly.

Old-Time Fashions paper dolls

Here are two girls with two  pages of vintage inspired clothing from Dolls magazine Novemeber 2004. The artist is Ming-Ju Sun.  These are reprinted with Dover's permission and are from the book which I've posted here.  The colors do seem brighter and crisper then the library copy.

Emma Rose

A cute paper doll of a doll from Doll Reader April 1990 drawn by Brenda Power.  She had three outfits with hats and even underwear.  I love to see paper dolls of dolls, especially antique and ball jointed dolls.  2 magazine pages.

Here is paper doll by Dorothy McLaughlin based on a book by Jane Fryer and Jane Boyer 1913.  I do not know when this doll was published or what magazine she came from.  I love her little doll with some matching outfits.  If anyone has more information on this doll, please let me know.

Here is a two page paper doll from the June/July Issue of Doll Reader 1989.  This may be one of my favorite doll magazine paper dolls that I own.  I really love the artwork, clothing, and doll.  The artist is Sheila Haynes Rauen.  The texture, shading, and patterns on the clothing is very lovely.  The doll has 5 outfits, 4 pairs of shoes and an umbrella.

Magazine Paper Doll

I recently purchased a binder full of magazine paper dolls which I have been scanning in.  I came across this one, it has no date, no title, and no marking of which magazine it is from.  It is also only one page.  The only thing I know about it is the artist Riki Klopper.  i would assume it is from a doll related magazine. If anyone has more information regarding this 20s style paper doll, please let me know.
