1937

Not much information on this sweet little girl except a written date of 1937.  I left her in the packaging I got her in.  She has one dress.  This two tone doll is probably homemade from a magazine or sewing pattern,

Betty Bo Peep

My blogger looks a little different?  Maybe it updated?  Anyway, this gorgeous set arrived in the mail yesterday and I couldn't wait to scan it!  The baby is redrawn from a few different sets such as Diaper Baby and Wee Wee Baby but I don't know if the insides are the same.  Wee Wee Baby .this one looks completely different.  I'm sad to say if punched out, she'd lose a lot of the gorgeous hair.  There are six pages of beautifully rendered clothes.  The back cover features art that looks like it may be from something else.  The publisher is Bestmaid Litho and the date I have is 1942.  the book number is 1443.

Tiny Tots

This uncut book is called Tiny Tots Paper Dolls with Red Flocked Clothing.  The red parts of the outfits are 'fuzzy'.  This is a Whitman set from 1967.  The dolls and outfits are punch-out, so no scissors are needed.  There are two cute dolls, Cathy and Carolyn.  And 6 sheets of outfits.  The cover art and inside of the cover/pocket for the clothes is adorably illustrated.  The dolls, I believe, can share the outfits.

Dress the Snow Family

This cute two page paper doll is from Jack and Jill magazine dated January 1961.  It features 3 snow people paper dolls, a mom, a dad and a child.  The outfits are hanging from a clothing line, what a cleaver idea!  And hats are laid out on a bench.  I love the overall composition of this set, it's a charming visual story.

Googly Baby

This adorable 2 page paper doll is by the artist Karen Reilly and was featured in Doll Reader June/July 2008.  The doll has 3 outfits with 1 hat but tons of cute tiny accessories such as toys, kitchen items, and vanity items.  The little bunny on the first page reminds me a lot of Grace G Drayton.  The soft pastel colors are quite pleasing.

Candi

This cute two page doll is from the artist Diana E Vining and was published in Dolls magazine Nov/Dec 2016.  Candi has 4 adorable sweet themed outfits and 43 hair accessories.  I especially like the detailed boarder on these pages.

Seika Kisekae

Artist (I think) is Hisako Kozakai and publisher is Seika, who makes many coloring books and kisekae (dress up) books.  I got to this information with the help of some of my facebook friends.  It's Japanese and I came across two similar items on Mandarake website

http://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1045096272&ref=top

http://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1051515737&ref=list

With this additional information I (think) the characters name is Funny Carol or Honey Funny Carol.  If anyone has additional translation, that would be helpful.
