Cinderella and the Prince

This a box set of the Disney character Cinderella and the Prince. I love box sets but I don't have too many because they take up a lot of room.  This is dated 1984 and is from Whitman.  Interesting, her blue gown from the movie is pink in this paper doll version.  The dolls have an almost anime feel to their faces and have slight bends from age (they don't lay flat anymore).  There is an accordion book that has five pages of outfits for the two dolls, it was a challenge to scan. The wedding dress is very similar to one I remember having as a kid.

August theme

base

almost forgot to post this!  August is long over and it's two weeks into September.  The theme for this month was Royalty.  I designed three dresses with three hairstyles in black and white.  The first dress is inspired by Maid Marian with bell sleeves and a circle metal belt.  The second dress is an empire waist with embroidery detail and puff sleeve detail.  The last is fantasy inspired.  Reposting, something caused an error on the page.

Not sure if the others have posted this months theme

Quick Halloween Paper Doll

During the weekend I had a yard sale at my house.  Didn't get a lot of traffic or make much money, but I did had out a few sheets of the doll above.  This Halloween themed paper doll was drawn in a day.  She has 4 costumes, a princess, a witch, a fairy, and Arabian princess like Jasmine (or a genie).  She has a witch hat with wig, a princess crown with wig and a hair jewel to match the Arabian outfit.  Her base costume is a Wonder Woman super hero inspired suit.  I have like 4 colored versions of this, since I had not much to do while sitting around at my yard sale.  I'll post those later.  Maybe if I get time, I will do a boy as well to hand out at Halloween.  But it's also Inktober and I'm trying to keep up with that.

Little Louise's Friends- Cinderella

Alright got the computer set up in my new place (in the living room right now... but hey)  So here's another sheet from Good Housekeeping of one of Little Louise's Friends... This time, it's Cinderella!  The storybook character is shown here with her rag outfit, golden ball gown, pumpkin, and even fairy godmother.  Published around 1909.

OPDAG News (Original Paper Doll Artist Guild) Issue 32 theme is Royalty with featured artists Marilyn Henry and Colette Cole.  All the pages are in black and white, not all pages are scanned.  In fact, my issue is a little fragile from age so I didn't scan as many pages. This issue is from August 1992.

Mary Englebreit October Paper Dolls

Here are two uncut paper dolls from the artist Mary Englebreit out of her magazine, Home Companion.  I don't have dates on these for the year, but I'm pretty sure the month would have been October, because of the Halloween costumes.  Ann Estelle has two outfits, including a very cute princess costume and lots of tiny accessories.  Gracie has two outfits including a clown costume and lots of tiny accessories as well.

Princess Paper Dolls

Here are two pages from the January/ February Issue of Disney Princess Magazine 2016.  Featured is four princess paper dolls (Ariel, Bell, Rapunzel, and Snow White). The issue includes instructions, but requires the use of glue. (I would add my own tabs).  The princesses each have one wedding gown outfit but encourages girls to make their own as well.  Copyright belongs to Disney and Disney Princess magazine.

Greeting Card Partial Set

I'm almost positive this is a Hallmark Greeting card paper doll.  I'm also almost positive she is missing some outfits.  Included here is 1 doll, 2 dresses, 1 hat, and one cutout figure.  The clothing and doll have some embossing.
