Those of you who have followed my blog for a while know I am a big fan of Arklu Lottie Dolls. http://www.lottie.com/
I currently own 5 different Lottie dolls and will probably purchase more in the future. Anyway, Arklu is hosting a Super Hero Outfit Design Competition for Children 10 and Under on Facebook or through the Lottie FanClub. I decided to make my own design using the template provided. My Super Hero Lottie has ice powers inspired by the Frozen movie. I would love to see a Magical Girl Lottie as well as a super powered one.

Lottie May Doll
Oh my! May is almost over! Here's my May Lottie design. I used a sailor theme for her clothes. I just got a anchor print vintage style swimsuit that inspired the idea. I didn't spend too much time on her because I've got other things to do at the moment, but enjoy!
I received a lovely post card in the mail, my first fan letter! It surely inspired me to keep working on my paper dolls.

Lottie in the Rain
Here's my April design for Arku's Lottie doll. I decided to go with a rainy day theme, since April showers bring May flowers. I included a classic yellow raincoat, a watermelon umbrella, a pair of froggy rainboots, a rainbow skirt and a graphic tee with a crying cloud and multicolor sleeves. Her hairstyle was inspired by Wendy from the fast food chain. I have had trouble uploading files, it is taking a long time for them to load, so my post may be short until I can figure out why this is happening.

Lottie Paper Dolls
Here's two more Lottie Paper dolls. Lottie is from the toy company Arklu located in the UK. These are my February and March Designs. I will probably do one every month. I used Adobe Photoshop instead of Illustrator and I like the lines a little better. I keep the dolls simple and do not add a lot of shading. I've included a tiny Lottie wearing the outfit to show how it will look on the doll. I may be busy for a few days because of extra hours at work. My next post will be my Easter doll, which I just finished coloring.

Quick paper Dolls
Here's a few paper dolls I designed quickly. The first is a Valentine's Paper Doll in which each outfit has a book because I work at a library. She is in anime style, like Japanese Sailor Moon paper dolls. The other is a quick (fifteen minutes) Illustrator paper doll I did of Lottie, a doll from Arklu toy company, http://www.lottie.com/ I do not yet own a Lottie doll but I plan on buying one in the future. The paper doll needs some work, but I have other projects to work on.
