Paper Doll Collaberation 2018 February Date Night
Base
The theme for the month of February was date night, inspired by Valentine's Day. The first dress is based on a real dress that of course I can't find a picture of now. The other dress I imagine in a blush/pink or maybe champagne color and is inspired by vintage lace dresses. I don't actually dress up to go on a date but I've always liked the idea of wearing something fancy to go out to dinner. I created a pair of shoes to go with the short dress and a little hair heart. Also a box of chocolates, of course, my favorite Valentine's gift!

Shakespeare's Loveliest Heroine Juliet
This two page paper doll is from Doll's magazine August 1999. The paper doll has three lovely gowns, some head dresses and a mask. It features Shakespeare's character Juliet from Romeo and Juliet play/story. I'm not sure I'd personally consider her a 'heroine' but I enjoy the colorful costumes of this paper doll set. The artist is Teri Wilson.

Dress the Snow Family
This cute two page paper doll is from Jack and Jill magazine dated January 1961. It features 3 snow people paper dolls, a mom, a dad and a child. The outfits are hanging from a clothing line, what a cleaver idea! And hats are laid out on a bench. I love the overall composition of this set, it's a charming visual story.
