This is a merrill set called High School dolls. I am missing one of the girls named Ann. This set dates from 1948. It features 4 boys (Gary Laurie Jack and Dave) and four girls (Joyce Sue Pam are here) along with outfits. Boys seem to have 4 outfits each, but a few have five with one handmade outfit. The girls outfits vary and some may be missing since it is a cut set. I'm surprise how well the hot dog eating pose is used.
Three dresses and two tops and one skirt along with a hat and tiniest bow ever. I would wear the pink outfit, too cute.

Ronald Royce invited Winnie to a winter sports party at his lodge up in the mountains. At the party Bill Byrd ski champion asked Winnie to go skiing with him the following morning. Fay Francis, beautiful brunette friend of Bill's overhearing the date became furious. Early the next morning Winnie Bill start on their skiing expedition as they came charging down the hill Bill shouts, "look out someones removed the danger sign!" Winnie unknowingly headed for the danger spot. more characters will appear in this continued story next week.
this is a cut Saalfield set called Heidi and Peter. A few variations exist. Peter is missing a hand. Peter has 7 outfits and three hats. Heidi has 3 outfits and two hats and an extra doll cut from the cover. This set dates from late 1950s to mid 1960s
Here in America today is now Patriot Day. I pulled this file a bit out of order to show some military uniforms. This one was scanned at the scanner at work instead of my home scanner. It is dated 3-29-1942 and features Jane and Bob Hope (actually not but I think it looks like him) in uniform and encourages the readers to buy war bonds.
