Junior Ledger Magazine Page Sunday October 1st 1933. This page has faded and discolored with age. Another Addition to your Doll Family from the artist Laura Brock.  she has one costume

Queen Holden Paper Doll Dressmaker

 

This set is from the artist Queen Holden.  It is called  Paper Doll "Dressmaker" and is Whitman publishing company from 1935.  The set came with two dolls and patterns for each doll to make outfits along with paper and sleeves and collars. Because the clothes are hand made each version of this set is unique.  This is my second copy of the set.  A two page paper doll featuring the actor Michael Landon with two outfits and two tops. This is from a Swedish magazine and from around 1960s/1970s era.

This two page paper doll is Annie the Rag doll inspired by fashion patterns from McCall's crafts Number 621 and 624. She has 8 outfits and 5 sets of shoes.  The lines on this set are so crisp and clean the art is really lovely. dated 1982

Marilyn Monroe

 

I think this paper doll is missing a second page.  This Swedish panel is from a magazine and features the famous actress Marilyn Monroe with one outfit, 1960s early 1970s estimate date.
