Bradley's Straight Line Picutre Cut-Out Dolls Fairy Tales

Prince, Snow White (as labeled on back)

Cinderella
This jointed paper doll set features fairy tale characters such as Snow White, the Seven Dwarfs, the Prince and Cinderella.  This is not a complete set and is missing some figures, like Red Ridding Hood and the wolf.  Also note the Prince little short arts, he's missing a upper sleeve!  These were designed by Clara G. Dennis for the Milton Bradley company. no date on this but I found another Mother Goose set dated 1915 so around that time. In the set I have, only Cinderella has an extra outfit.  I've been feeling a bit burned out lately, so I may take a break from the blog soon.

Bedknobs and Broomsticks

Here is the uncut set Bedknobs and Broomsticks based on the movie which is based on books "The Magic Bed-Knob; or, How to Become a Witch in Ten Easy Lessons (1943) and Bonfires and Broomsticks (1945)" by English children's author Mary Norton. The movie was produced by Disney and released in 1971.  The paper doll book was published by Whitman in 1971 and was authorized by Disney.  I've never seen the movie so I do not know how accurate the very colorful wardrobe is.  The set includes the five characters and six pages of clothing. The cover has art of a town and drawings of the characters.

Here is a partial set of First Date from 1944 by the Merrill Publishing Company.  This was part of a larger lot purchased from Goodwill online stores. The clothes are by Clara Ernst Barnes.  There are four dolls, two girls and two boys.  This is not a complete set and some of the outfits have rips and tears.  The dolls are also used, with some missing limbs and repairs.
