Catherine Anne

Here is a lovely black and white paper doll by the artist Susan B Sirkis. This is an 1985 reprint of a 1964 paper doll. She has four pages, but actually, it's printed on one really large page that is folded into fourths.  I really love the detail on this paper doll and the outfits. I found this in one of the older OPDAG Newsletters, but I am not sure if it came with one or not.

Nursery Rhyme Party Dolls in Costume

I noticed that I never posted this set! I bought this off of ebay for my mother for Christmas (2 years ago now?).  This is Nursery Rhyme Party Dolls in Costume by McLoughlin Bro. It was published in the 1920s. This set is not complete but includes one doll base,  a doll from the front cover and four outfits.  The doll is very similar (and possibly the same) as The New Model Book of Dolls. here

Request for Mandi Sales (Megan Big Heart)
For those who requested lalaloopsy designs, here they are.  I will NOT be taking any more request (lalaloopsy related or other) at this time.  I have several projects I am working on and a list of ones I want to start. Lalaloopsy is owned by MGA. Creeper (second request shirt) is from Minecraft. All art was drawn by me using Adobe Photoshop CS5.

Family Dollar Midnight Magic Monster High clone

Lottie Dolls!

Jun Planning J-doll Artemis

Drossel Charming Nendoroid and D-Arts Elizabeth

Once Upon a Zombie Ariel (plotting to eat Pinkie Pie's ear)

Equestrian Girls Pinkie Pie

Lalaloopsy Ponies and fairies
Update on some of my doll collection. Of course, not everything new is pictured, like my newer lalaloopsy mini dolls or Sailor Moon FigureArts. One doll I really want but haven't found for a good price is the Licca Madoka.  The Lottie dolls and Once Upon a Zombie Ariel were Christmas gifts. J-doll Artemis is lovely but has really ugly shoes... Pinkie Pie is likely the only Equestrian Girls doll I will buy, I wasn't too happy with the designs of quality of this line. I wanted to get more Lalaloopsy Ponies but the latest ones are covered in glitter, which I do not like.  I plan on purchasing more dolls in the future, as well as paper dolls of course.

Bruce Patrick Jones

Paperdoll Review is a publication by  the same people who make OPDAG Paper Doll Studio magazine. Unlike Paper Doll Studios, the magazine does not focus on original paper doll art, rather vintage paper dolls. This is Issue 17 from Fall 1999. Each Issue has a theme, this issue was WWII.  This issue is black and white with a color cover. Newer issues are all color. They can be purchased in Subscription form (4 a year) or individual back issues.  Paperdoll Review Magazine for Sale
